THE PROGRAM
Leadership and Innovation in Disruptive Times by Amani Institute is an online high-intensity capacity-building program.
It has been custom-designed for senior managers in the Italian development cooperation. All classes will run in English for five weeks from July to September 2020, with international guest speakers and case studies from around the world. Both Italian and global partners of the Italian Cooperation are invited to apply.
Thanks to the support of Innovazione per lo Sviluppo, the selected candidates will only pay a contribution fee of 75 euros. Deadline to apply: June 21st 2020.
WHY THIS PROGRAM
Timely reacting to the pandemic is not enough. Preparing for the future is a must. Travel restrictions, social distancing and remote work will completely change how we relate to colleagues, funders and project beneficiaries.
Visionary and effective leaders are needed to navigate a deep transformation of the sector.
WHO IS IT FOR
The program has been designed for 25 senior managers belonging to non-profit and public sector organizations. We are looking for people who already are in leadership positions and feel the need of develop new mindsets and innovative solutions, and to practice new tools to rethink their business and impact models.
FACULTY AND CLASSES
The webinars are going to be highly interactive live sessions, with individual and team work.
All classes will be run in English, with Faculty and international experts who are master practitioners in their fields.
A customized e-learning platform will promote interaction among peers and with faculty and guest speakers.
KEY ELEMENTS
Every element of the program contributes to a direct application on the job. Amani Institute's mantra is that learning is valuable only when applied.

3-7 hours a week (you decide!)
Readings, videos, case studies, peer feedback, team work: you can decide how much you put into it, to get the best out of it!
SCHEDULE
The webinars are always planned from 8.30 am to 10 am CET. Video recordings of the sessions are available. But it is required that you join the classes live. You need to attend at least 7 out of 10 webinars live to graduate.

1FILL IN THE FORM
The application deadline is June 21st, 2020. Candidates will be selected to guarantee the diversity and the quality of the cohort. In addition, the process will ensure people form different organizations can join.
2CONFIRM
The selection process will take two days (June 22nd and 23rd).
On June 24, selected applicants will be informed and invited to confirm their interest by paying the 75 euros subscription fee via PayPal.
3JOIN
Once they send the payment receipt, participants will receive the credentials to join the e-learning platform from July 1st. They must attend at least 70% live of the classes to graduate.
WHO WE ARE
The Leadership and Innovation in Disruptive Times initiative is organized by Amani Institute with Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo's support, as a part of the capacity building program Innovazione per lo Sviluppo.
Amani Institute is a non-profit organization (501c3 non-profit status in the USA), based in Kenya, India and Brazil. Our mission is to develop professionals who create social impact. 500 Fellows from 63 countries have enrolled in the Post-Graduate Certificate in Social Innovation Management until now. We have also worked with 100 organizations (Unicef, Oxfam, WWF, Norwegian Refugee Council, USAID, among others) on 129 capacity-building projects involving 7900+ participants, all over the world: from Argentina to the USA, from Somalia to the Netherlands, from Jordan to Thailand.
A strategic and multidisciplinary project on international cooperation and development aimed at fostering technological innovation processes and products in order to get creative responses to the most pressing problems that low-income countries population face. Active since 2016, Innovazione per lo Sviluppo is a program promoted by Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, in collaboration with diverse partners working in data for good, digital fabrication, and ICT for Development.
